Meet Droogs - Formed in 2018 they had been gaining a reputation around Bristol for their riotous live performances at Port Eliot Festival, Bristol Harbourside Festival and many more.
Debut single 'Make You Laugh' resulted in the band being invited to be BBC Upload’s House Band of the Week where host Adam Crowther described them as “The next big punk band to come out of Bristol”.
Any band who loves to make sweaty noise with an aim to make us sing and laugh is worth checking out.

Bristol-based punk three-piece DROOGS set out to do just that, and listening to latest single 'Swing' they have achieved it. Released on 25th December 2020 this a crazy, white knuckle ride reminiscent of The Damned or The Clash. “Swing” is a fearsome, breathless 4 and a half minutes of ferocious raw guitars and drums. It actually describes the life of an introverted and vulnerable teenager, but the subject matter belies the music which is a relentless assault on the senses. It blasts off like a rocket at the start, and does not stop until it hits the final note.

Previous tracks 'Make You Laugh' and 'Method Actors' are in the same vein and this wild punk immediately makes the floor shudder with the power of the music.

DROOGS debut EP was recorded in November 2019 and is set for release in 2021. I can’t wait for some more sweaty noise…..
