Alternative four-piece Sterling Press announces their first ever UK tour, which will kick off on 5th November 2021 at the Exchange in Bristol.
The lads will make their return to the underground circuit with a string of indie classics, injecting their original alt-rock sound with a newfound appreciation for punk, ska and techno music.
They band formed in West London in 2020 and is the dwelling collaboration of Ed Higgins (guitar, vocals), Greg Smith (guitar, vocals), Marlon Reynier (bass, vocals) and Lucien Ismael (drums).
Debut single 'Very Fun Times' got them featured by BBC’s Abbie McCarthy on her BBC Music Introducing Kent Radio show as ‘Track of the Week’. Furthermore they gained recognition from the likes of Steve Lamacq (6Music Recommends show), John Kennedy (Radio X X-Posure) & Gemma Bradley (BBC Radio 1 Introducing Show)!
Commenting on the tour, the band explain:
Marlon - “We can’t wait for these shows, we had a taste of live again with our first London & Manchester shows, and now we’re ready to get out there and show everyone what Sterling Press is! We’ve got some massive new songs we’ll be debuting and some very exciting additions to the show!”
Greg - “It’s going to be huge, we want everyone going away thinking about the next Sterling Press show they’re coming to! We’re keen to match the visuals to the music, we want it to be an experience for everyone who comes down to see us! It’ll be the best thing we’ve done as musicians, absolutely no doubt!
Tickets for their Manchester gig at the Night & Day Cafe and London's Oslo Hackney can be bought here!!
