London dance-punk trio test plan is comprised of Rory Dickinson (vocals/bass), Michalis Fragkiadakis (guitar) and Max Mason (vocals/drums).
They just released their debut single 'So Bored at Your Squat Rave' (out yesterday 15th of Sept), which was recorded and mixed by Darren Jones (Fat Dog, The Fall, Gorillaz) at the band’s own practice space in north-east London.
Lyrically it portraits an outsider dealing with anger and alienation within their surroundings. It comes with dance beats, guitar screams and enraged vocals - a dark concoction of dissatisfaction and paranoia. Drummer/Vocalist Max Mason explains:
"This song explores a character angry at the environment around them, the people, the drugs and how they feel. The 'Squat Rave' serves as a metaphorical vessel in the lyrics as a means for the character to direct their fear and anger."
