If you like 80's-inspired sun-kissed pop, we totally recommend to have a listen to L.A. Peach and their “Welcome To L.A. Peach” EP, which was released 18th of November.
The enigmatic London collective is comprised of John James Davies (vocals), Olivia K Wood (vocals & saxophone), Morgan Griffiths (bass, synth & programming) and Jake Stanley (piano & guitar).
Lead singles 'Amateur' and 'Power Trip' both got praise from DIY, Under The Radar and The Independent, in addition to spins on BBC 6 Music airwaves.
They already played alongside the likes of Walt Disco, Drugdealer and Trudy and the Romance and their signature wry sleaze-pop was championed by So Young, Clash, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit.
Detailing their brand new EP, frontman Davies explained:
“After many years of exploring and experimenting with new and interesting sounds, we decided to sack all that off and make an 80s pop record (with a light hint of the early 00’s)”.
