Sunnbrella unveils music video for latest single 'Wrong'!
Sunnbrella started as the lo-fi bedroom pop project of Prague-born, London-based David Zbirka in 2018. He released his debut single ‘Feelin’ Invisible’ the same year, which was followed up by debut EP “Wanted Time” in early 2019. Recent releases transitioned from bedroom-pop to a more punchier sound. He garnered support from 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, BBC Introducing London’s Jess Izzat, Loud And Quiet, Amazing Radio, Hard Of Hearing, only to mention a few.
Latest track 'Wrong', which was released in July 2022, is about a stream of consciousness dealing with negative behavioural cycles, unreciprocated affection and general personal confusion. It represents the chaos of transit, leaving one place behind for another destination, which we all know to well, always comes with it’s own baggage.
Songwriter and vocalist David Zbirka notes:
"It's one of those songs that sort of wrote itself. I always enjoy those songs the best because they don’t bring back memories of the frustrating and seemingly never-ending process that a lot of other songs have to go through in order to be as good as they need to be. This one sort of fell into place naturally.”
