Punk-rock trio The Chats are comprised of Eamon Sandwith (bass/vocals), Josh Hardy (guitar) and Matthew Boggis (drums).
Orginally formed in Australia’s Sunshine Coast, they are now relocated in Brisbane.
Most people will know them for their 2017 breakthrough banger 'Smoko', the entrée to a high-volume, full-throttle world where intoxication, excitement and laughter rule.
As 2020 dawned, The Chats were building enviable momentum across Europe, North America and their homeland, getting ready for the arrival of their full-length debut album "High Risk Behaviour", which just dropped as the pandemic hit.
Undeterred they released second album "GET FUCKED”" in August 2022– a hyper-adrenalized blitz from punk heaven, showcasing 13 new tracks.
Now they are bringing their high-energy performance and frenetic live show to a city near you:
