Isle of Wight riser Ugly Ozo announces Debut EP "Stargirl", set for release October 24th via REX RECS, and shares brand new single 'madonna'!
The newcomer has already been been championed by the likes of DIY Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Rough Trade and Under The Radar, coupled with airplay on BBC 6 Music, Radio X and KEXP airplay and festival appearances at The Great Escape, Isle of Wight, Wanderlust and Outer Town.
Detailing her latest effort, Ugly Ozo revealed:
"'madonna’ is written from the perspective of an older sister looking out for her younger sibling, andis both deeply personal and widely resonant. It’s a grunge-soaked ode to sisterhood, vulnerability, and the bittersweet feeling of watching someone you love grow into themselves, with an overbearing sense of aching protectiveness."
The new single is now available on all digital platforms.
